A Warm, Grounded Space for Personal Growth

I am Tracey Lloyd, a qualified counsellor offering supportive, individual adult counselling across Sutton, Epsom, and the surrounding areas. My practice is built on working relationally, which means I believe that the secure, collaborative partnership we build together is at the heart of your healing. Life can change in an instant, but also at times our challenges are an accumulation of so many things. It is also very common to not know why we are struggling, just to know that we are. I am here to help you navigate your feelings and your experience, whether that feels like general anxiety, depression, or deep-seated grief. You don’t need to come fully understanding your struggle.

Alongside my general practice, I hold a deep interest in health anxiety, chronic illness, and medical trauma. I also provide dedicated support for professionals, such as healthcare workers, frontline staff, teachers, and social workers, who are navigating the heavy weight of secondary trauma, compassion fatigue, and burnout. Together, we will create a gentle space where you can pause, untangle your experiences, and rediscover your footing.

Frequently Asked Questions

No question is too small. Ask anything you need to feel safe, comfortable, and ready.

No, I specialise strictly in individual adult therapy. If you are looking for couples counselling or family therapy, I would be glad to point you toward trusted colleagues or professional registers that specialise in those areas.

The free initial consultation is a short, informal conversation. It is a gentle opportunity for us to connect, talk through a brief overview of what is bringing you to therapy, and see if we feel like a good match. There is absolutely no pressure or obligation to book a full session afterward.

Our first face-to-face session is entirely about establishing your comfort and safety. We will go through some simple practicalities, and then you can begin sharing your story at a pace that feels secure for you. You will never be forced to talk about anything you are not ready to explore.

Because I work integratively, the duration of your therapy is entirely tailored to your unique needs. Some clients find that a short-term block of sessions provides the clarity they need to manage a specific life curve ball, whilst others prefer open-ended therapy to explore deeper, long-standing patterns. We will review our progress regularly together.

Yes, confidentiality is the absolute foundation of my practice. Everything you share within our sessions is kept strictly private and safe. The only rare exceptions to this are if I am concerned about your immediate safety or the safety of another person, which is a standard ethical requirement that we will discuss fully during our first session.

I understand that healthcare staff, frontline workers, and teachers often navigate unpredictable schedules. I offer dedicated face-to-face daytime appointments on Mondays from 9am to 5pm, and late afternoon or evening appointments on Thursdays from 3pm to 9pm to help fit around your professional shift patterns.
