About Me

A look into the values behind my practice, my core training, and my commitment to helping you navigate difficult life transitions and professional exhaustion with compassion.

My Background & Approach

As a Registered Member of the BACP, I offer a reassuring, down to earth space to pause and catch your breath. When you are dealing with constant pressure or emotional exhaustion, taking the first step toward support can feel overwhelming but you are already part of the way there.

My approach is deeply shaped by my background as a Registered Nurse. Spending over 25 years in healthcare taught me how closely our minds and bodies are connected. When we experience stress it is held in our body, and when we experience physical health challenges it affects our mental wellbeing. My experience allows me to bring a grounded, practical understanding to our sessions, looking at your overall well-being. This combined with my therapeutic experience and training, enables me to support adults navigating the curve balls of life, ill health, workplace burnout, grief, and low self-confidence. My practice in Sutton provides a comfortable, judgement-free space where you can speak openly and safely find your feet again.

The Way I Work

Confidentiality

Your privacy and emotional safety are my highest priorities. Our sessions provide a dependable sanctuary away from the noise and demands of daily life.

Tailored Care

Because everyone is unique, I adapt my therapeutic models to fit you perfectly, rather than expecting you to fit into a rigid or prescriptive box.

Transparency

I believe in being straightforward and open. There is no heavy industry jargon, just an authentic and human conversation about what you are going through.

Partnership

Therapy is a shared journey. We work relationally to explore older, hidden patterns, helping you build a lighter and more compassionate connection to yourself.

Why Choose Me

Understanding Burnout

Specialized experience in how the body holds onto stress. I know how to help busy professionals recover from emotional and physical exhaustion.

Calmness in a Crisis

My extensive nursing background means I can sit safely with you through your most overwhelming, painful, and complex life experiences.

Guiding Through Loss

Trained with Cruse Bereavement, I provide a gentle and steady space to help you safely process deep grief and loss.

Flexible, Secure Support

Fully certified in online and telephone therapy, ensuring your remote sessions feel just as safe, private, and welcoming as meeting in person.

The Therapeutic Environment

I work both face to face and online, and I will be led by you on how we work together. For some people having a dedicated welcoming physical space provides a clear boundary from life’s daily stresses. For others the convenience of online work is important, or for health reasons necessary. Either way, we will have dedicated time together, during which we will be able to build a genuine, relational connection that allows you to step away from your routine and focus completely on your own wellbeing.

Whether you are processing the vulnerability of a physical health diagnosis, or navigating the deep exhaustion of public sector burnout, I will provide a welcoming, grounded setting where your story is treated with the utmost respect.

Looking For Support?

Therapy is a collaborative process that moves entirely at a pace you control. As you look through the different ways we can work together, take a quiet moment to consider what you most need support with right now, whether that is relief from professional exhaustion, managing daily anxiety, or navigating a difficult life transition. Whenever you feel ready to explore that, a safe space is waiting.
